My Weekend at Flower City Comic Con 2025

This past weekend I had the pleasure of being part of Flower City Comic Con in Rochester, NY, and I have to say, it was an absolute blast!

From the moment I set up my booth, I felt welcomed by such an enthusiastic and supportive community. I met so many wonderful people, fellow artists, creators, and fans—who made the weekend feel extra special. Every conversation reminded me why I love sharing my art in spaces like this.

One of the highlights for me was participating in a group drawing session hosted by another artist at the convention. It was such a fun and collaborative experience to sit down and just create together. There’s something magical about seeing different styles, ideas, and personalities come together on one page—it really captured the spirit of the event.

Of course, one of my favorite parts of any convention is sharing my art with a new audience. I loved seeing people stop by my booth, recognize pieces from my drippy skull series, or discover something new in my collection. The support, excitement, and encouragement I received throughout the weekend mean so much to me, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who came by to chat, grab a print or sticker, or even just say hello.

Flower City Comic Con reminded me yet again how much I love being part of this creative community. Events like this are about more than just art—they’re about connection, inspiration, and celebrating the things we’re passionate about together.

I can’t wait until the next one!
