Case Study: Kind King Logo Design

Role

Designer

I designed the logo and branding for Kind King, developing a bold, geometric identity that reflects the band’s strong yet approachable presence. Using a custom-styled version of the Baby Teeth typeface, I crafted a blocky, all-caps logotype with a subtle crown detail to emphasize the “King” theme. The color palette of deep purple and warm golden yellows enhances the regal yet playful aesthetic, creating a distinct, memorable visual identity.

The logo system includes primary and alternate lockups, ensuring versatility for various applications, from merchandise to digital branding. I also designed a repeating crown pattern to complement the brand, which can be used across marketing materials. Additionally, the logo was applied to the band’s kick drum head, reinforcing the branding in a live performance setting. Seeing the design come to life across multiple mediums has been incredibly rewarding, and this project highlights my ability to create cohesive, impactful band branding.
